After never before using LinkedIn, I finally had set up an account and looked through how the basics work. First impressions of the site are that it is very customizable, leading to the ability to see the jobs that you are interested in and see what they have to offer. This is the main advantage that the social media platform holds. Another advantage that I found is that people can communicate. Business are able to share their news and content with not only people and customers, but other businesses.

Sharing ideas and getting them out there seems to play a huge part in LinkedIn, and because of this is the main reason that it works well for businesses. Not only the ideas but showing off projects and designs is great. Practically any piece of content that can attract people to your profile and business is available to be done on this platform.
If I were asked if I would recommend this website to anyone trying to expand their own brand, website or business, I would definitely say yes. Apart from getting used to the site and finding out all the other less known skills it has to offer, it is great for all people in this position wanting to work with others and share content.
